Rui Pires Cabral
Was born in Macedo de Cavaleiros, a small town in northeast Portugal in 1967. Graduate in History and Archaeology at University of Porto, is a writer, poet and translator. Since 2000, he has published a number of books, which were brought together in the Collected Poetry Morada (Assírio & Alvim, 2015). Is also the author of several collage poetry books, as Biblioteca de Rapazes (Edições do Saguão, 2012); Manual do Condutor de Máquinas Sombrias (Averno, 2018); and Vampiros de Bolso (não [edições], 2026).
