Raquel Nobre Guerra (Portugal)

Lisbon, 1979. Poet and essayist, she has a degree and a master’s in philosophy. In 2012, she won the Pen Clube Portuguese Prize and the Novos CGD/Culturgest Prize in Literature for Groto Sato (Mariposa Azual). She has also published the books of poetry, Quarto 28: SMS de Amor e Ódio (Amor-Livro, Residências no Largo, 2013); Saudação a Álvaro de Campos (Palavras por Dentro, 2014); Senhor Roubado (Douda Correria, 2016); e Divisão da Alegria (Tinta-da-china, 2022), which received the Alain Bosquet Literary Prize (2025) in its French edition. Postes de Luz para Cães Vadios (Tinta-da-china, 2026) is her latest title. Her work has been published in several countries, including France, Spain and Germany. She lives between Lisbon and Alentejo.
