João Miguel Henriques

Born in Cascais, 1978. Poet, translator and professor of portuguese language and literature. He is the author of numerous books of poetry as O Sopro da Tartaruga (author's Edition, 2005); Também a Memória é Algum Conhecimento (Lumme, 2009); Entulho (Apenas livros, 2010); Isso Passa (Artefacto, 2012); Fonte Breve (Tea For One, 2015); Incêndios (não [edições], 2016); and Panónia (Enfermaria 6, 2021), as well as other texts scattered across various magazines and online publications. He currently lives in Budapest (Hungary), where he teaches at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) and runs the local Camões Institute.
