Luís Miguel Queirós

He was born in Porto in 1962. He earned a bachelor's degree in International Relations but directed his career toward communication and cultural criticism. He made his debut in journalism at the now-defunct O Comércio do Porto and collaborated with O Primeiro de Janeiro. At the end of 1989, he moved to Público, where he joined the Culture section, dedicating himself to literature and, in particular, poetry. He is the author of the anthology Vingt et un poètes pour un vingtième siècle portugais (L’Escampette, Bordeaux, 1994) and co-organized, with Rosa Maria Martelo and Joana Matos Frias, the volume Poemas Com Cinema (Assírio & Alvim, 2010).
