The entrance to the Casa is the shop-bookstore. Here you will always find someone to welcome you or help you buy a ticket for the exhibition or an auditorium program.

This is the ideal place to buy books by Fernando Pessoa in several languages or book covers, bags, and crockery from the Casa's exclusive line.

opening times

Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:00

Closed on 1 January, 1 May and 25 December.

The auditorium is located on the ground floor of the museum. It has a capacity of about 50 people; and its configuration is adapted to each program’s specifications. This and other areas may have a commercial use, if it doesn’t interfere with the Casa’s main programming and proper daily functioning. There is also a restaurant, the Flagrante Delitro (this is a quotation from the caption of a portrait that Pessoa offered to Ofélia Queiroz and which shows the poet drinking a glass of wine in a bar in Lisbon’s Baixa district).

The restaurant has an outside area with a terrace and serves drinks, light meals, lunches and dinners, consisting above all of traditional Portuguese cuisine.
