Lisbon Revisited - Poetry Days is back

In 2021, we’ll be having poets in the House and on video, as well as audiences in the auditorium and online.

Once again, we're bringing poets from different places and languages together, for our Days of Poetry program. Coming to Casa Fernando Pessoa via digital channels, or in-person at the auditorium, well-established poets are joined by others who are not yet translated or published in Portugal, for conversations and readings. Conversations will be held in the afternoon and can be accompanied on location or online. The readings will be held at night, in the auditorium of the Casa, purposely without the online experience, for added intimacy. The poems will be read (1)in their original languages, (2)in Portuguese and (3)interpreted in Portuguese Sign Language.

With Conceição Lima (São Tomé and Príncipe), Jan Wagner (Germany), Luís Filipe Castro Mendes (Portugal), Miguel-Manso (Portugal), Regina Guimarães (Portugal), Rita Taborda Duarte (Portugal), Ron Padgett (United States of America) and Samira Negrouche (Algeria).

Conceição Lima, Jan Wagner, Ron Padgett and Samira Negrouche participate remotely and with pre-recorded testimony, in video and audio.

Luís Filipe Castro Mendes, Miguel-Manso, Regina Guimarães and Rita Taborda Duarte will be physically present at Casa Fernando Pessoa.
