Katerína Iliopoúlou (Greece)

Born in Athens, Greece, in 1967, the city where she lives. Poet, editor and translator, she has written five books of poetry, a book of short stories and has a novel bound for publication. In 2007, she received the Poetry Prize for Young Authors from the literary magazine Diavazo. She translated works by Sylvia Plath and Walt Whitman. She is one of the editors responsible for the bilingual (Greek / English) poetry website Greek Poetry Now. She is editor-in-chief of FRMK (FARMAKO), a biannual magazine dedicated to poetry, social sciences and visual arts. She represents Greece on the international poetry platform Lyrikline, based in Berlin.
